Starters,elementary,pre-intermediate,intermediate and upper-intermediate.
2)Need Analysis
To know their previous English learning experience and what area they want to learn.
3)Limiting Factors:Employers, Time constraints,Resources,Cultural issues and Students.
4)Assessments of Students
Diagnostic-To be done BEFORE the class;To access student's skills and knowledge.
Placement-To assess students'CURRENT ability and then group them.
Aptitude-To PREDICT students'future performance
Achievement-To assess students' learning of the whole class including the syllabus
Proficiency-to assess students'current knowledge and reference this forward to some FUTURE TASK.
Progress-To assess students' progress in learning SPECIFIC area(suggest it to be done at least once after the class)
5)Examinations:
CYLE(Starters(7),Movers(8-11) and Flyers(9-12))KET(Over 13),PET(lower intermediate)
6)Course evaluation (From the student;to evaluate your whole class, including materials, resources, syllabus and so on)
