this units talks about pronunciation and phonology. phonemes:each sound represent a sound in English such as; Go, show, dough, etc. we are no longer concern with how a word is traditionally spelled. but only concerned with the sounds needed to correctly produced words. looking forward into the manner of articulations, we had plosives, Affricates, Nasal, lateral,Approximats. more so, we looked into the variations in volumes of speech. (rise and fall. fall rise etc) we also looked at connected speech such as; linking, Dropping, changing and extra-lettering
