Unit 12 was about productive skills; speaking and writing. Writing can be more difficult skill than speaking, because while speaking, you can always correct the things you just said. Instead while writing, the students need to focus more on accuracy and try to avoid misunderstandings. The typical problem can be, that some words sound totally different than they are in writing language. That's why it's important to focus both on speaking and writing on the classroom lessons. Typically writing is included on home work, but it's also important to practice it in pairs or in groups. When students practice writing skills, the teacher can use many different methods to improve it; for example games, story telling etc.
