This lesson focused mainly on briefly introducing a number of language acquisition techniques as well as explaining the reasoning behind the ESA methodology and how it is an effective tool for language acquisition. I learned about the basics of each stage of the methodology as well as variants on the original ESA Model. I Found the "Boomerang" and "Patchwork" methods quite compelling due to their flexible nature and the students are given multiple opportunities to incorporate and practice the new language from their study stages.
