In this lesson I learned all about classroom structure. There are many things I will take from this lesson. I think I will adapt a horseshoe classroom arrangement and I have also picked up many tips on how to communicate with students during class time. I now understand that teacher talk time is to be at a minimum to allow the students to practice and learn the lesson properly.Unit 9 Lesson Planning gives a very brief overview of writing a simple lesson plan. This unit explains the importance of planning lessons and allowing for flexibility during the lesson. While this covers the basics of lesson plans I wish this unit had been more thorough in explaining each part and giving examples of how to decide timing for each activity and the reasons behind it.
