In this unit I learned about teaching themes that can be applied in the context of many teaching lessons. Examples includes songs and chants, games in the classroom, the use of stories, art and crafts and seasonal activities. All of these can be geared towards a certain age group and tailored for the lesson you plan to teach. At the end of the unit, we reviewed sample lesson plans.This chapter was more difficult that previous ones. Modal verbs, I understood. However, the different types of Intransitive verbs was very confusing. Furthermore, I found the different sections of Modal verbs and how to use them in different parts of speech, difficult to wrap my hear around. However, after extensive studying, I feel I understand the material much more clearly.
