I had not realised that the present tense was so complicated. Rather, I should say that I did not know that the present tense had different names with different rules. I am aware of many misyakes that are made, but while able to correct them; I was not able to explain the mistakes in a way that enabled learning. Either I wax taught none of this as a child or I didn't pay attention!This chapter helps me review grammar of my own native language and this is important because it is not something I ever think about because I am native speaker that never needed grammar rules it just comes naturally. However, grammar is the corner stone to learning any foreign languages. Plus my future students will be thinking in these grammatical way when trying to learn English.
