In this unit I have learnt about the following parts of speech: nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions. It was very good for me to review these categories because I tend to confuse possessive pronouns and possessive adjectives. I also sometimes mix up gerunds and present participle. It was good for me to review these points. This section was very interesting as I never studied the International Phonetic Alphabet before and I received a chance to study it in this section. I did not really think so much about all the intricacies of pronunciation. This section showed me a lot about pronunciation and how to teach it. I am not sure if I will be teaching it so detailed but the section was helpful to read.
