Unit 11 is about teaching receptive skills which are reading and listening.
It is a good idea to pre-teach the essential words before students listen or read during study phase.
Careful selection of texts is also very important.
You should get to know your students so you can choose materials they will be interested in.
Tasks you give them should not be too easy or too difficult.This lesson was about what makes good teachers and learners, and is important because it provides roles/examples of what teachers should do at different times in classes. At some points, a teacher should facilitate the lesson, at other times, they should actively engage in the lesson. It also talks about different aspects of good students, and things they might or might not do.
