Ema is from Slovenia and has recently finished the 120-hour course with ITTT. In this TEFL review video, Ema discusses how the course did a good job of combining the practical and theoretical side of English language teaching. Ema points out that teaching English requires the teacher to put a lot of their own work into the job and recommends this course as a good starting point.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit is a very good overview of the different types of teaching positions there is and how needs differ based on situations and ages. Teaching kids will require a different level of innovation and involvement from the teacher than teaching adults, but teaching adults cannot be considered as easy, as they too have a unique set of challenges that the teacher needs to prepare for. This unit teaches teachers how to use available teaching equipment within their premises. The most common equipment are TV, projectors, CD players, recorders, OHP, etc.; and they are extremely helpful. Having these equipment is an advantage for students and for teachers to have a more interesting and successful lesson. A list of useful online sources is fortunately provided as well.
