Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
Before going into this unit, I had little to no knowledge of modal and phrasal verbs. I now feel confident with these grammar points, and feel that I could explain them to a student if need be. I had prior experience with active versus passive voice since I am currently studying creative writing at university, but it was interesting to see a grammatical break down of the structure. This unit is as useful as all the previous grammar and theory units of this course. Despite the future tense being more straightforward and easier for ELS students to understand than say the present perfect continuous, it is never too much for a teacher to look to valuable resources such as this unit for additional comparative analysis and effective ?activate? phase tips.
