This unit focuses on the teachers' need to evaluate their students' English, as a clear way of measuring or assessing progress and language capabilities. It lists and explains the different types of testing and evaluation tools a teacher can use along with its strengths and weaknesses. Lastly, it also presents some of the English language's external assessments done around the world.During this unit i have learned about conditionals & reporting speech, i have learned the different ways in which the five conditionals are used and ideas on how to teach them. I have also seen how the students may find the difference between direct speech and reported speech difficult as present turns to past only in some direct to reported speeches, where as others remain the same.
