Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
Very helpful unit. Clearly underlining the advantages to each type of teaching aid. Some of the advantages or disadvantages I already mostly assumed but some others (the part of interactive white boards for example) were less obvious. I especially liked the list of available online resources that will definitely be worth checking back on when in an actual teaching situation. In this Unit we started considering the material available for use in the classroom and how to put the material into the lesson planning. The material can be authentic or non-authentic. Course books are very useful but the teacher will need to adapt the suggested activities and workseets. These books offer continuity and progression and good ideas for inexperienced Teachers.
