After learning Unit 9, I can make a lesson plan format which is very useful for me to teach. Firstly, the lesson plan should include basic information of the class, such as class level, the teacher’s and observer’s names, expected number of students, date and time, room number. Secondly, language point, teaching acids, learners’ objectives, teachers’ aims, anticipated problems and solutions both for the students and the teacher should be included. Finally and most importantly, procedure, phase, time and interaction should be contained in more detail. There is no strict standard to plan a lesson. In order to improve the teaching skills and make the classes as interesting as possible, the teacher could monitor the quality of the lesson.
