This section focused on the classroom atmosphere and student-teacher dynamic. Factors that can affect the learning environment as well as student-teacher rapport include the arrangement of the physical space as well as the teachers approach to communication. It is important that the organization of the class benefits the different types of activities that are being utilized. For example, when doing activities that rely on paired grouping of students, the seating arrangement and also the student personalities can have an affect on the individual students learning. It is also important that the teacher understand how to build rapport with the class, but also know how to maintain discipline as to allow for a positive learning environment for all students.
