I have learnt that teaching phonetics can be a little difficult however following the information from the diagram in this unit, it makes the lesson process more understandable. The teaching techniques in this unit are very helpful. As a native English speaker, i have not come across these methods as presented in the unit. The unit further explained how the teaching of pronunciation can be carried out in a manner that students will be able to comprehend and practice. The manner and place of articulation table was especially helpful for me as a teacher as I was able to read and understand the aspects of phonemic symbols.
