Unit 20 showcases the ways in which we can build a fun and engaging class atmosphere, adjust games to accommodate both strong and weak students, manage large classes, encourage students to use English rather than their native language, encourage reluctant students, and finally, aid students in building their listening skills. The variety, methodology, and advice dispensed in this unit covers a wide range of subjects - all of which are relevant to me as an English-language teacher. The overall message is clear: create an atmosphere that if fun, engaging, and positive; listen to your students and be sensitive to their needs; don't leave your strongest or your weakest students behind; if your students are struggling, think of constructive ways to help them; encourage students to practice English whenever possible. This advice will allow me to become a better teacher.
