Unit 4 gave me introduction to the present tenses. I have learned how to form and use the four present tenses: the present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. Listing the main usages of these tenses was extremely useful, because it gave me clear explanation and good example sentences. The unit also presented typical student errors or mistakes, which help teachers to prepare better explanations. I have been given various ideas on how to teach present tenses in the Activate stage.
