Teaching receptive skills is an exciting unit because it has allowed me to review the basics skills that I have to develop in students learning English as a foreign language. This has also given me a general idea of just how well I have to get students up and going with regards to reading and listening as the outlined receptive skills lesson plan has shown me just how much thought and activity goes into planning a successful lesson.
