This lesson provided me with an outline of how lesson planning works and what makes up a lesson. For a lesson to be successful it must have direction followed by how this direction can be carried out. For lesson planning it is necessary to have a structure such as, learner objectives, personal aims, language point, etc. This does not mean that the lesson planned is the be all and end all, but that it provides a backbone and still allows and encourages flexibility.
