I was surprised with how short this section was though it was a little nice to move through it quickly. This unit covered receptive skills. I had never actually thought about qualifying different skills that go into learning a language. Receptive skills are made up of reading and listening. Similar to my own experience of learning a language this unit claims that it is easier for students to read than to verbally understand a text. In my own experience I have definitely found this to be true.
