Teaching receptive skills in very important in language instruction. The average students finds listing difficult because unlike texts or reading, they are not written down. That is why good comprehension skill is very important. In having full grasp of comprehensions, the students need to understand the vocabulary or language of instruction. Choosing or selecting the topic is also very important. The teacher needs to put the students into consideration. He/she should not choose the topic that interests him. S/he needs to know the interests of the students. If not, the students might find the topic difficult and uninteresting.
