Unit 15 was comprehensive and interesting. I agree with the statement on page 6 regarding 'Many teachers are not in favor of formal testing as it is often more of a test of memory than actual knowledge' As teachers we should be interested in the progress of the students but we should be careful not to use evaluation for the sake of evaluation. Some students get discouraged and give up learning due to teachers who are not empathetic to understand their learning difficulties. Page 01 stresses the importance of Evaluation by the students. I am encouraged to find creative ways to elicit feedback from students.
