This unit gives a detail explanation of the importance of phonology and pronunciation when learning a new language. It is the job of the English teacher to make sure that students are aware of how sounds and speech patterns are produced in the language. Teaching Intonation- the volume and pitch change- of sentences is key to helping students unlock how to comprehend and be more clearly understood. The unit also presents us with many techniques for making students mindful of pronunciation and how to ensure that students are learning correctly.
