This unit provides information about the lesson plan, what to avoid and how to plan lessons that is structured to achieve certain objectives. It ensures that the teacher understands what the goals are and how it can be achieved with flexibility. I learnt that while structure helps to guide the teaching process it is important to feel out the students as well and be flexible enough to change the plan if learners are enjoying a specific phase of the plan and postpone the rest to another lesson. I also learnt that it is much easier to achieve learner objectives with a well structured lesson plan because it gives you direction and records what has been done. it is much easier to go back to well planned lessons especially when problems are recorded for future use.
