Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

I feel that this unit offered a concise introduction to the roles of a teacher and student. I have previously read “The ESL/ELL Teacher’s Survival Guide” by Larry Ferlazzo and Katie Hull Sypnieski, which covers a lot of this material. as well as attended workshops offered by the British Council. Therefore, I was familiar with the idea of the many roles of a teacher, as well as the important of being able to use each of these roles when the class calls for it. However, the reading material for this Unit was much shorter and to the point. This material was also the first time that I have seen Common European Framework levels. I believe that part of the reason I have not been exposed to those levels is because I currently work in Japan, where other system of evaluation are often used. However, I wish the correlation between Beginner, Elementary, Low/pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper intermediate, and Advanced and A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2 was made more clear. Obviously, there are five categories for one and six for the other and while in-depth descriptions are provided for one, there are not longer descriptions for the other that could be used to better align the language level systems.
