I really enjoyed the ESA structure given within the framework of learning new vocabulary. I also liked the analogy of vocabulary being the leaves on the tree while the grammar is the trunk and branches. A bare tree is no fun to look or notice, so someone with very little vocabulary knowledge will not be a very effective or exciting communicator. I also liked the example lessons given in this section, and the activity about the offer for a date with refusals was particularly intriguing. I will certainly use many of the suggestions that were presented in this module.
