This unit has explicitly gone into detail in the areas of form, usages, typical student errors, and activating stage teaching ideas. The three different tenses that are taught are the past, the present, and the future and each of the tenses has four components: simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. I learned the typical mistakes students make and understand it is important to correct them and make note of the errors. When teaching the present continuous tense students should be drilled when learning the pronunciation. Students should also be introduced to different graphs and tables, so they may describe any changes that are taking place. When teaching verbs, it is important to look for the errors students are making and what is the best way to go about correcting them. Different activities such as role playing or changing the room are a couple of ways to help students grasp an understanding of the present tenses. Having students interact with one another will be an engaging way to teach the different tenses of the English language.
