In this unit we studied about Future tense, it expresses a future event or a future state of being.
1) Simple Future Tense- I is used for an action that will occur on the future. It can be used to express future facts, promises, predictions, assumptions, threats.
Affirmative sentence- I shall/ be will, you will , he shall/ will + verb
Negative - I will not / shall not , you will not/ shall not
Question- will/ shall I
Will generally expresses a stronger intention, determination than shall.
2)Future Continues Tense - It is used for an on going action that will occur in the future. It can be used to say something that will be in progress at a particular time in future or , to predict the present or to refer to future events which are decided
Affirmative- subject + will+Be + verb (ing)present participle
Negative- subject + will not + be+ verb (ing)
Question- will+Subject + be + verb
3) Future Perfect Tense- It is used to describe an action that will have been completed at some point in the future. It is used to say that something will have been done , completed or achieved by a certain time in future.
Affirmative - subject + will+ have + past participle
Negative- subject + will + not + have + past participle (ed)
Question- will + have + + past participle
4) Future Perfect Continuous Tense- It is used for an ongoing action that will be completed at some specified time in future. We use Future perfect continuous to say how long something will have continued by a certain time.
Affirmative- subject + will + have + been + + verb (ing)
Negative- subject + will + not + have + been + verb ( ing)
Question - will + subject + have + been + verb
5) Be going Future tense - It is used for expressing intentions , predictions based on present evidence, plans .
Form - verb ‘to be’ in the present + going to + base form of verb
