Grammar is an important part of English and this unit covers all the parts of speech. This unit covers the different types of verbs, nouns, adverbs, adjectives, articles, gerunds, pronouns,prepositions and conjunctions. There are basic rules for most of the parts of speech, but as a teacher I've to be aware of the exceptions in some of them. For example, the adverb of fast is 'fast' and not 'fastly'. I'm aware of most of the rules of the parts of speech mentioned in this unit but I've also learnt some rules which I was unaware of, for example, we cannot use 'the' in front of the name of the countries, cities, streets, etc.(with few exceptions).
