These theme is a common and complex issue for the teachers. The teacher often has to create their own materials to replace the part that is not suitable for the class. If students compare course books and materials created by the teacher, they find the last ones more interesting and relevant. Teachers can use authentic materials to gain confidence to the students when they understand them, to add more interest and motivation in the teaching process. Also the teacher can design created materials to replace or supplement some parts of the teaching plan from the course book. They are: crosswords, flash cards, picture stories, word search puzzles etc. Course books are really convenient for the teacher. They consist of a set of materials: student’s book, workbook, cassettes, teacher’s book. It provides a syllabus which is graded to a students’ level, a balance of grammar and vocabulary; but course books can become very predictable for the students. The best way to improve the teaching process is to mix all of the materials during the lesson and understand what is really interesting and useful for the students.
