In the last unit of grammar, unit eighteen, modals, phrasal verbs and the two English voices (passive and active) were all taught to the future TEFL teachers. I learned in this unit a lot about modal auxiliary verbs: what they are, what they can be used to express, how to use them in each tense, and some good teaching ideas. I also learned about the two voices of English, relative clauses, and phrasal verbs. I have begun to see why it is said that one would need at least four years of full time study to cover the whole grammatical system!
