I didn't realize that there are twelve tenses but once explained, it does seem logical.I found this unit a bit difficult; it took me a while to comprehend the different uses of each present tense even though they are well explained; I did need to go over them several times before feeling at ease with them. I have actually compiled a table comparing the different forms, usages etc which has helped me by having the four tenses all together. In this way, I find it clearer.
