I feel that perfecting the grammar units is essential to becoming an effective teacher. This unit will give me a strong foundation and I'll certainly come back to my notes from this unit. As a native speaker of English, I never really fully understood the tense in English, I just knew how to use it. Currently, I am also studying Japanese independently and the content of this unit has enhanced my learning of Japanese. I now have a stronger foundation to compare Japanese language learning to English and I feel that I can use this experience to relate to students learning another language. I look forward to learning more about grammar.
