I think that the various aids used in teaching are often overlooked and not thought about. In Unit 17 I was able to see many different types of teaching aids that could be applicable to all types of teaching. Before reading this unit the only aids that I thought about would be the standard white/chalkboard. After reading this chapter I have become familiar with many types of aids some of which I would not have been able to see as remotely applicable in a teaching English as a foreign language setting.
