In acquaring a new language, the unit emphasizes in the importance of the experiences or exposition the student has to the language.It also mentions how important it is to comprehend definition,understand its structure and then be able to apply the knowledge,its usage. I personally think exposure to it is the most relevant.Through exposure the student can identify, in context,the way it is used,therefore, understand its meaning with relevance, and then practice and produce it. This is why the engage, active ,study strategies seem very useful. First you are exposed and go through th e experience of the language in use. Then,you get to analyse how it sis used, the structure (study), then produce in the active phase.
