This unit covered modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. Through understanding these topics, the students will be have a greater ability to speak and understand native speakers of english. Through understanding when and how to use modals like: could, would, can, should, etc., they will be able to depict what is being said and how it's being said. Passive voice also helps the students recognize the focus of the statement. Educating students in phrasal verbs allows the students to understand modern english and slang associated with it.
