This unit discussed conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are sentences with the word "if" concerning past, present, and future possibilities. Teaching the students how to properly breakdown conditionals can assist in their understanding of the subject. This can also help them gain a deeper understanding in the using and reading of past, present, and future participle. Reporting direct speech allows the students to gain an even deeper understanding of the different tenses and actions. From breaking down a statement and changing the tense, a student can display a grand understanding of not just the word tenses, but of the vocabulary and grammar used.
