Unit 7 discusses ways to teach vocabulary and grammar lessons. From reading unit 7, it had shown be the typical techniques that can be used in a classroom when teaching new vocabulary and grammar. Also unit 7 discusses what students need to know in each area. For example in a vocabulary lesson, students must know the meaning, spelling, and pronunciation. Also as to why it may be difficult/easy for students to pick up new vocabulary words. When introducing grammar lesson, this unit has shown me students need to understand the meaning of what the language means, the use, forms and patterns, and the spoken and written form. Overall, I enjoyed this unit, it was more in dept and it revisited the ESA techniques which was helpful.
