In conclusion in taking this course, I have taken on board various things that I had little knowledge or no knowledge about. The worksheet and the units have really given me detailed information about teaching styles, materials for students etc. However I know have to expand on this and put it into practice so therefore I would like to get a TEFL job preferably in the middle east.
I have learned that I knew some general facts about teaching and what the requirements are which I thought I would lack knowledge on. The course has put it into prospective of what facts I know and what I am willing to learn more on. I have gained that that the teaching area in TEFL is diverse and ranges from different areas. It has given me great awareness in how teaching works and how students come first which has made me more determined to pursue a career a teaching job abroad and getting merged in different cultures and teaching english. Although I am not a native english speaker I am willing to learn and expand and broaden my horizon.
