I have definitely gained a deeper understanding of the english language, and more importantly how it is constructed. Many people believe that as a native english speaker they are capable of teaching english. In most cases this is not true. Even as a native speaker I have learned a great deal about the english language, which I had previously forgotten or had never been taught.
With this certificate I am hoping to start teaching courses and private lessons in the area of Italy where I live. Previously many people suggested that I should teach english, but without the necessary preparation I did not feel ready for such a responsibility. Now that I have finished I feel comfortable with the idea and am looking forward to starting.
