I have gained some more insight on how to teach english to a group of students. I do realize that this course does not make me a complete expert on english grammar yet, but it has certainly helped me think about how I should deal with many different situations in class. Preparing lesson plans was certainly very helpful. I think I can use the lesson plans that I’ve made in this course when making my actual lesson plans. This could be a great time saver when I’ll actually be teaching full time. I will certainly refer back to certain units when needed. I’m really enthusiastic about the ESA methodology. While I was learning about it, I kept thinking how I wished my language teachers at high school would have used this methodology. It would certainly have made the lessons a lot more interesting, and especially less boring. I will thus certainly try to put the ESA methodology into practice as well as possible!
