I was somewhat hesitant to do the course, how could I learn to teach english in 20 lessons? How could I ever feel confident enough to even think of teaching english?
This course has helped me understand that I am capable of planning lessons, which are really important, that there are many things I don't know but I have the resources to find out, and that I have gotten a better understanding of different grammatical structures and rules which I had forgotten over the years.
The course has touched on every important aspect of teaching, how to conduct oneself as a teacher, how to motivate students, how to deal with problems etc.
I feel confident enough that I have learned sufficiently to start teaching a group of beginner students in our local town, knowing that I have access to plenty of resource material recommended by you as well as reference material from the lessons. There is still an enormous amount to learn, which I no doubt will do while I am putting into practice what I have learned so far.
